Examples with brackets
Practice the skill of expanding brackets using our trainer. The examples consist of two arithmetic operations, where the correct answer can only be obtained by correctly expanding the brackets.
Adjust the difficulty level and add negative numbers and any basic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to the tasks.
You may also find the mental arithmetic trainer with three numbers useful.
Math skill features

Timed practice sessions
The green bar at the bottom shows how much time is left in your session.
Try three five-minute practice sessions a day. After each session, review your results to see how you did. Longer sessions earn a larger XP bonus.
Answer time limit
The blue bar at the top shows how much time you have to answer.
Timed practice helps you recall basic math facts, such as sums and multiplication facts, more quickly.
For harder problems, give yourself more time per question or turn the time limit off.
